Step into a dream core rebellion. Ethereal resistance: Women in Liminal Light is a solo exhibition by Dina Vazquez that transforms Gallery Marquee into a pastel-dystopian sanctuary of divine femininity and unapologetic power. Through glowing saints, religious symbolism, and liminal dreamscapes, Vazquez explores the journey from girlhood to womanhood and the expectations placed along the way. Each piece examines roles like "Mother" or "Saint", confronting themes of autonomy, surveillance, softness, and strength. This immersive show blends vulnerability with defiance, inviting viewers into a world where femininity glows, resists, and reclaims herself.
MEET THE ARTIST
Dina Vazquez is a multidisciplinary artist and curator whose work explores femininity, resistance, and transformation through a dream core, pastel-dystopian lens. Her paintings in Ethereal Resistance invite viewers into liminal spaces where softness becomes power and silence becomes voice.

Born in Stoneham, MA. raised and currently based in Fitchburg, Vazquez is passionate about supporting the city's growing arts scene. Through her exhibitions, public art projects, and curatorial work at Gallery Marquee, she continues to create opportunities that uplift and inspire local artists and audiences alike.
